Nvidia's last generation of cards, like the 2080 and 2080 ti, were undeniably fast, but their promise to deliver high-performance real-time ray traced graphics always felt unfulfilled. While the cards were undeniably powerful and innovative, they struggled to produce high frame-rates, especially at 4K resolution.
