When you’re in the market for budget laptops, inevitably you’re going to ask two questions: 1) Will it surf the internet?; 2) Can I use it for Microsoft Word?
If you can check those two boxes and have a little power leftover all the merrier. We’ve come up with the top six post-Cyber Monday budget laptop deals this weekend.
Of the laptops listed, arguably the best value is the HP 15t laptop. HP is clearing out its stock of 2016 machines to make way for the new 2017 models. One they’re trying to dump on the market is the 15t with a Core i3 processor, 4GB RAM, and a 500GB Hard Drive. Generally you won’t see a Intel Core processor below the $300 price point, even on Cyber Monday. Originally this machine was going for $430 and its now discounted by $170 down to $270.
Our second pick would the the 15.6-inch Lenovo Z50-75 from the Microsoft Store. Compared to the HP Envy 15z, it’s slightly more expensive but comes with an much more powerful AMD FX-7500 processor as well as 8GB RAM and 1TB HDD. This historic low price point for the originally $599 PC is powerful enough Microsoft is calling it a gaming capable laptop (it’s on the lowest possible end of gaming machines) and is tossing in a bonus free game download.
